Camp Sandy Cove is located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in High View, West Virginia. We are 25 minutes west of Winchester, VA, 90 minutes from Washington, DC, 2 hours from Baltimore, MD, and 4 hours from Philadelphia.

These are the most accurate directions - GPS systems and computer search engines are typically not accurate in our area.

FROM PHILADELPHIA:

  • 95 South (through the tunnel in Baltimore)
  • 695 North towards Towson
  • 70 West to the Hagerstown area
  • 81 South to Exit 317 - Winchester
  • Take Route 37 to Route 50 West - Go approx 12 miles and look for Route 259 after the sign for Gore, VA
  • Turn left on 259 for 5 miles
  • Turn right on Christian Church Rd
  • Turn left on Hooks Mill Rd
  • Follow signs to Camp Sandy Cove

FROM BALTIMORE:

  • 70 West to the Hagerstown area
  • 81 South to Exit 317 - Winchester
  • Take Route 37 to Route 50 West - Go approx 12 miles and look for Route 259 after the sign for Gore, VA
  • Turn left on 259 for 5 miles
  • Turn right on Christian Church Rd
  • Turn left on Hooks Mill Rd
  • Follow signs to Camp Sandy Cove

FROM WASHINGTON, DC:

  • Take 495 By-Pass to Route 66 West
  • Take Route 81 North Exit
  • Take 81 North to Exit 310, which is Route 37 North
  • Follow Rte 37 North to Rte 50 West Exit - Romney/Winchester
  • Take a left at the light onto Route 50
  • Route 50 West - Go approx 12 miles and look for Route 259 after the sign for Gore, VA
  • Go left on 259 for 5 miles
  • Turn right on Christian Church Rd
  • Turn a left on Hooks Mill Rd
  • Follow signs to Camp Sandy Cove

FROM PITTSBURGH, PA:

  • Take Route 70
  • to Route 522
  • to Route 37 South
  • Take Route 50 West - Go approx 12 miles and look for Route 259 after the sign for Gore, VA
  • Go left on 259 for 5 miles
  • Turn right on Christian Church Rd
  • Turn a left on Hooks Mill Rd
  • Follow signs to Camp Sandy Cove
