Bring a Friend to Camp Sandy Cove

              You get $50 for each NEW camper you bring to Camp Sandy Cove Summer 2010. NEW = never been a camper at Camp Sandy Cove.

Do I get the $50 in cash?

              If you have not paid your final balance, the $50 will be deducted from your total camp fees. If you have already paid in full, we will credit the $50 back to you.

What does my friend get?

              $50 too! Yep, that’s right. They get $50 off their camp fees also!

This is my first year coming to camp – can I do this?

              Sure! Join the fun.

Does this have to be the first time my friend comes to camp?

              Yes, Summer 2010 must be the first time your friend attends Camp Sandy Cove as a camper.

Can my sister or brother be my friend?

            Well, yes…you should always be friends with your sister or brother. But, you can’t claim them for this contest. However, we will automatically apply the multi-child family discount to your account.

Do I have to be signed up for camp first?

              Well, we can’t award you $50 off your camp fee, if you aren’t signed up! Make sense? So, start asking your friends and bug mom and dad to get you registered for a week of Camp Sandy Cove Summer 2010.

Is there a limit to how many friends I can recruit?

              Nope! In fact, bring enough friends and you could pay for a couple of weeks of camp!

Can I get brochures to give to my friends?

              Tell us how many and we will mail them to you right away. You can email us at info@sandycove.org or call us at 800.234.COVE (2683) ext. 454. Be sure to tell us your complete name and mailing address…please spell your last name and town.

How does my friend tell you my name?

              When your friend registers online, there is a question that asks for your name. They need to enter your first and last name in that spot.

Is this a contest too?

              It is! Prizes are fun, aren’t they? Bring 5 or more friends to join the contest.

What does the contest winner get?

              We’re going to have two winners! The two campers* who bring the most friends get a FREE week of Sandy Cove’s 2011 (that’s next year!) Summer Together Family Vacation… sort of like camp. A week away…pools, rock wall, big swing, all-you-can-eat buffets, hotel-style lodging and cool programming FOR YOUR WHOLE FAMILY! How do I know if I win the contest?

              We’ll send you a smoke signal! Actually, Chief Tim will be so excited that you won, that he will call you to let you know!

What is the deadline for recruiting my friends?

              You can keep asking your friends to come to Camp Sandy Cove until the very last week of camp! The last week is August 1-8, 2010.

Is the $50 limited to basic camp fees?

              No, the money you earn will be applied to your total fees. So, that means you can use the money to pay the extra fees if you have signed up for specialty schools (horsemanship or circus) or tripping. You can also use it for shuttle or laundry fees. And, as store money or to buy a shirt or video.

What if I earn more than what my week of camp costs?

              If you earn more than your total camp fees, buy a Camp Sandy Cove sweatshirt for your mom! Or, even better, use it toward another week of camp!

What if my friend already signed up before you started this contest…can I claim him/her?

              Yes, have your friend call us.

Does my friend have to come to the same week of Camp as me?

              Nope.

How do I find out how many of my friends have signed up and given my name?

Not sure…We want to be careful not to post names on our web site. So,check back! We’ll be figuring out how to do this securely.

Can I use the $50 for Man Camp?

              No, sorry, this contest is just for Camp Sandy Cove Summer 2010.

When will you apply the $50 to my account?

              If you and your friend have both signed up before June 1, we’ll tally everything up at that date and have your final account balance figured out. Then we will apply your $50 discount. After June 1, you will be asked to pay in full when you register, so we will issue a credit back to you. Remember, your friend needs to pay his/her balance in order for you to get your credit. Please be patient, this bookkeeping might take some extra time.

What happens if I get friends to go to Camp after I get home from one of the early weeks of camp? Can I still get $50?

              Yes! You can keep collecting $50 for each NEW friend all summer long.

Can my $50 be applied to Camp Sandy Cove Summer 2011?

              If you earn $50 after your balance has been paid in full, you will have choices how to get your $50 credited back to you. Camp Sandy Cove Summer 2011 is one of those options.
