Chief Tim Nielsen

Director of Camp Sandy Cove

Tim has been the director of Camp Sandy Cove since 1989. He has a Master’s Degree in Christian Education from Columbia International University. Tim is the President of the Keystone Regional Council of Leaders of the American Camp Association (ACA). Tim has also helped to start and operate camps in Russia and Australia. Tim’s wife, Adina, works with him at camp and is in charge of the office and registration.

Chief Timothy J. Glass

Program Director of Camp Sandy Cove

Tim has been a part of Camp Sandy Cove since 1987, beginning as a Cabin Counselor, working in many areas, to his present position as Program Director. Tim is a Christian school teacher in the fall and winter months and works at camp in the summer. Tim and his family live in West Chester, PA. He is a Member and Visitor for the American Camp Association. Tim loves seeing campers come to camp and take the time to connect or even reconnect with God and make Him a full on part of their lives.

Chief Adina Nielsen

Office Manager of Camp Sandy Cove

Adina has been involved with Camp Sandy Cove for many years. Adina has a degree in Recreation Management and a Master’s Degree in Camp Administration. Her work in environmental education and teaching horseback riding lessons has developed her love of God’s Creation, which she is instilling in her daughters.
