CAMP SANDY COVE CALLS WEST VIRGINIA HOME!

Camp Sandy Cove moved in 2004! In October of 2003 we purchased a beautiful camp in High View, West Virginia in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains (click here for driving directions) where we run our summer program.

Our new location will eventually allow us to accommodate as many as 220 campers each week. It also allows us to offer a great range of activities for our campers to enjoy.

This 187 acre property contains:

a lake and a pond,
2 swimming pools,
5 tennis courts,
a roller hockey court,
basketball court,
skate park - including a half pipe,
soccer field,
baseball diamond,
indoor gymnasium,
indoor activity areas,
archery and air riflery ranges,
horseback riding arenas and stables,
high trapeze,
craft shop,
pottery shop,
photography and video rooms,
a well-stocked nature den,
zip line,
low ropes course,
and access to a great beginner canoeing river.

Our comfortable camper cabins sleep 10-12 individuals and are equipped with overhead lighting, ceiling fans and bathrooms.

Even though we have experienced some big changes in the past, we are still Camp Sandy Cove. We continue to maintain many of the aspects of our program that make us exciting, unique and effective. We have great day trips, unique activities, new cookout sites (we sent a map to Captain Cookout, and he still managed to find us), awesome cabin nights, and incredible theme week programs. Most of all, Jesus Christ remains the focus of our program. We still have chapels, cabin Bible studies, and all-camp times of worship, singing and spiritual growth. It's awesome!
