Camp Sandy Cove is pleased to offer a brand NEW Day Camp for our local community!

We want to offer a life-changing summer day camp experience to help children to connect with God and each other in the beautiful setting of Camp Sandy Cove.

Summer 2012

Open to 7-11 year old boys and girls
Monday-Friday
8:45 am – 5 pm

Transportation is available to/from the Route 50 Walmart in Winchester, VA
(no extra charge!)
Pick up 8:00 am / Drop off: 5:45 pm

Each week of Camp is packed full of fun and adventure centered on a theme!

June 25-29: Olympic Week

Join a Camp Sandy Cove Olympic team and compete all week long! Will your team win the gold
medal? Even if your team doesn’t take home the gold medal, you will still have the time of your life! See you there!

July 2-6: Wet ‘n’ Wild Week 1

Canoe races, squirt guns, water balloons, swimming and more! Cool off during a fun, super-soaked week at CSC.

July 9-13: Anything Can Happen Week

Expect the unexpected in this fast-paced, surprises-around-every-corner week! Only our Program
Director knows the secrets to this week of fun and games.

July 16-20: Carnival Craziness Week

Prepare yourself for a week of crazy carnival fun! We will have popcorn, cotton candy, inflatables,
games for prizes, and other super fun carnival stuff too!

July 23-27: Superhero Week

Sharpen your “super powers” during this week of amazing fun! Join Captain Cookout as he battles
villains, rivals, nemeses’ and other general bad guys! If you haven’t yet realized your “super hero”
potential, this week will help you find your real power!

July 30-August 3: Wet 'n' Wild Week 2

We can't get enough of the wet ‘n' wild fun, so we're doing it again! Canoe races, swim relays, and water competitions! This week promises to be huge splash of fun in your summer!

8:50	Join overnight campers for morning devotions
9:00	Morning Day Camp Activity (Rockets, Canoeing, Fishing, Gaga, Cage Soccer, Frisbee Golf, Tetherball)
10:10 - 11:10	Chapel / Boys and Girls Bible Studies
11:20 am - 12:20 pm	Morning Elective Activity – choose 1 (Archery, Basketball, Pottery, Tennis, Dance, Swimming Lessons)
12:30 - 1:15	LUNCH
1:30 - 2:30	Afternoon Elective Activity – choose 1 (Archery, Chess, Crafts, Nature, Skateboarding, Tennis, Outdoor Living, Drama, Guitar)
2:40 - 3:40	Free Swim
3:50 - 4:50	Afternoon Day Camp Activity (Lodge games, Zip Line, Archery, Craft, Outdoor Cooking)
5:00	Depart for Walmart
5:45	Drop Off at Walmart

Wednesdays: Day Campers will participate in Wacky Wednesday program.
