If you are 15 or going into the 10th grade, you are eligible for the Leaders In Training (LIT) Program at Camp Sandy Cove. This program is an exciting way to challenge your own personal growth while enjoying an intense wilderness experience.
The LIT Program is a three-week session during which you will take part in an extended out-of-camp trip. You will backpack for a week in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia, canoe for a week down the scenic Cacapon and Potomac Rivers, spend two days on a ropes course and two days rock climbing. You will also spend time in camp shadowing our best counselors.
Throughout the entire program you will be studying God's Word to determine how you can become a stronger and more effective leader. Allow God to work in your life this summer, be an LIT!

"I' m going every year 'til I become a chief!"
"Camp Sandy Cove is where I built a stronger relationship with God."
"I will be back in a few years as a chief!"
After you have successfully completed the LIT Program you are ready to return the following summer as a Counselor In Training (CIT) at Camp Sandy Cove.
During your 4-week stay you will spend a week in a cabin with one of our finest counselors learning how to be a great Chief. You will learn how to teach activities, participate in a work crew, invest time in studying the Camp Sandy Cove CIT Manual, and dig deep into God's Word.
When you graduate from the CIT Program, you are eligible to return to Camp Sandy Cove as a Junior Counselor. The CIT Program is a great way to prepare to be an effective worker for Christ!
