Hey Fathers and Sons!
Spend the weekend at Camp Sandy Cove building, repairing and preparing camp for the summer of 2013 while we help you build, repair and prepare your walk with Christ.
The weekend will have some of the typical elements of a Father/Son Man Camp program: great food, activity time, fellowship, and times of worship and a speaker who will help us dive deep into God's Word. However, it will also have a time of training and service! You will be able to choose your project (roofing, painting, construction, to name a few) and an experienced crew boss will provide the materials, some training and direction as we work together to prepare camp for ministry this season!
Meet our guest speaker: Pastor Chris Swansen. Chris graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Masters of Science in International Development for Appropriate Technology in 1991 and Calvary Chapel Bible College in California with a Bachelor of Bible Science. In 1992, he traveled with his wife, Laurie, to Russia to serve as a missionary and became pastor of the second Calvary Chapel in Moscow. br>
Following their stay in Russia, Pastor Chris and Laurie returned to the US where he served on the staff of a Calvary Chapel in North Carolina for one year. At that time he felt God calling him back to the Philadelphia area to start a Bible-teaching church. Pastor Chris has served as pastor of Calvary Chapel Chester Springs since 1996. He lives with his wife and ten children in Downingtown.
The weekend starts at 7:00 pm on Friday and ends at 2:00 pm on Sunday. |

If you are interested in being a crew boss, contact Tim Nielsen to discuss opportunities. t.nielsen@sandycove.org "My son and I benefitted greatly from this manly experience!" "I had a great time. The swing was awesome. Every year God has the right people in place to bless with a word or deed. I thank God for Sandy Cove Man Camp and you let us go from good to better to best for His Kingdom." "Thank you for the great father/son time. Keep up the great work!" ![]() |
